Jim Clemente

Jim Clemente is the preeminent voice for law enforcement expertise serving as Writer/Producer for the hit CBS show Criminal Minds. When the series began 12 seasons ago, he started as tech advisor and freelance writer. A seasoned expert, Jim is a retired FBI Supervisory Special Agent/Profiler and former Prosecutor for the New York City Law Department. During his 22-year career with the FBI, he has investigated serial killers, sexual predators, public corruption, white collar and violent crimes and worked as an undercover agent posing as everything from a street beggar to a Wall Street broker.

For over a decade he was an FBI Profiler investigating serial, violent and sexual crimes and he is an internationally recognized expert in the fields of Child Sexual Victimization, Sexual Homicide, and Abduction. Since retiring from the FBI, Jim has been providing expert consulting and testimony services. He’s also been writing, producing, and consulting on Criminal Minds, Blind Spot, Secrets and Lies, Quantico and Those Who Kill, to name just a few, while also appearing as on-air talent for several television series, including Killer Profile, Crime Time, and more recently The Case of: JonBenet Ramseyfor CBS.

Jim created X-G Productions as a leading production company and consulting firm that employs tech advisers and consultants on prominent shows including Quantico, Blindspot, Hunted, The Closer, The Following, Sleepy Hollow, and It Takes a Killer. Recently, Jim and X-G Productions created and produced the series The Case Of: JonBenet Ramsey for CBS. In addition to non-scripted content, Jim co-wrote and sold the first ever scripted series to Discovery, Manhunt: Unabomber, about the real-life story behind the hunt for the Unabomber, premiering in 2017. Throughout his storied and exciting career, Jim has sold a number of series and screenplays and also authored the novel, Without Consent (Rothco Press).

Laura Richards BSc, MSc. MBPsS 

 

Laura is a criminal behavioural analyst and advocate who worked for a decade at New Scotland Yard as Head of the Homicide Prevention Unit and Head of the Violent Crime Intelligence and Analysis Unit.

 

Laura is Founder of Paladin, National Stalking Advocacy Service, which she set up following the successful stalking law reform campaign and spearheaded Laura the Domestic Violence Law Reform campaign, which resulted in the offence of coercive control being introduced. 

 

Laura is the author of the Domestic Abuse, Stalking and Harassment and Honour Based Abuse Risk Model (www.dashriskmodel.co.uk) and Oxford University Press book 'Policing Domestic Violence.’

 

Laura was consulting producer on ‘Dirty John, the Dirty Truth,’ co-creator and executive producer of “The Case of: JonBenét Ramsey” on CBS and “The Case of: Caylee Anthony” on Oxygen.

 

Laura has a golden doodle puppy called Beatrice.

Lisa Zambetti, CSA

Lisa Zambetti is a Casting Director in Los Angeles who casts for television, film and new media. She is the casting director for CBS' long running hit drama Criminal Minds, but has also worked on shows for NBC, ABC and cable; as well as on award winning independent features, large studio movies and blockbusting video game franchises.
